Masterful actor, teacher and director, Charles Laughton was neither a writer nor an inventor of stories but rather a teller of stories (as he recounts himself). He presented many of his favourites in his anthologies and Grammy Award-winning album. Scott A. Hurst becomes the teller of Laughton’s story in this one-man, tour-de-force.
Jason Allin is Charles Chaplin as he explores the familiar and the unfamiliar Chaplin and his life, his rise from rags to riches and his rapid climb from obscurity to becoming a superstar. Chaplin: About Faceliterally illustrates the significant aspects of Charles Chaplin’s life that display the theme of duality or “complete 1-80s”.
