| COMEDY - It's 1972 and an idealistic, aspiring young Toronto actor plants himself in rural Ontario to research country life for a theatrical script he is developing. As he delves into an extended visit with two middle-aged farmers, his hosts are not overly thrilled with the self-involved city dweller, even less so when he unwittingly stumbles upon and unravels decades of deception. Lost stories of World War II are cracked open, and forgotten memories begin to surface, forcing the characters to confront the hard truth of their extraordinary relationship. A humorous, heartwarming play about the simple pleasures of friendship, storytelling, and remembrance.
