The season continues in March 2009 with a production from Théâtre PÀP: Je voudrais me déposer la têteby Jonathan Harnois, directed by Claude Poissant. The play tells the troubling and poetic story of 20-year-old Ludo, devastated by the recent suicide of his best friend Félix. Fulfilling a long-held dream, Claude Poissant has crafted a stage adaptation of this short novel. From the meeting of a writer and a director is born the adventure of a new vehicle for the young novelist’s ideas—ideas that French Theatre believes must be heard. Alongside our relationship to the world and to our own despair, the play examines how the dialogue of an individual life can become muffled and indistinct.
