| The Prime Minister and Chancellor are about to announce a ridiculously severe and puritanical budget, meant to tax alcohol, tobacco and amusements such as bingo, gambling and night clubs out of existence. On the eventful afternoon before its presentation shocks are in store for both men as each in turn is led to believe that they are the illegitimate father of a beautiful young stripper. A result of a, not so sober, night of mirth and mayhem many years ago. After numerous hectic developments a happy ending appears to be in sight only to be climaxed by a final, even less expected, bombshell.
