Legend Theatre's stage production about Patsy Cline takes you to the heart of the singing legend: her courage, her struggle, and her triumph. It is March 5, 1963. During her last flight home from a charity concert in Kansas City, Patsy is forced to deal with the conflicts which have haunted her life. Originally a poor country girl from Virginia, she has paid a terrible price to become a star of records, television, the Grand Ole Opry, and even Carnegie Hall. Through flashbacks of her life and songs, Patsy learns to accept what she has become in a life "which just kept turnin' out like my songs."
Singers, actors, and a country band perform her 13 of her greatest hits including "Crazy", I Fall to Pieces", "Walkin' After Midnight", "It Wasn't God Who made Honky Tonk Angels", "She's Got You", and "Sweet Dreams" in the production which mixes the drama of Patsy's life with her personal brand of racy humour. Directed by Brian Conway with Musical Director Don Hinde, the show stars Anna Sudac, Jen Sargent, Michael Kristiansen, and the Heavenly Playboys.
