A New Theatre for Collingwood Theatre Collingwood Board Chair, Darrin Smith toasts a glass of lemonade with Mayor Chris Carrier, long-time arts advocate, Barbara Weider and Theatre Collingwoods Artistic Director, Steven Thomas. The term from lemons to lemonade is meant to characterize the site of the decaying Tremont Hotel, now designated for the construction of a new Performing Arts Facility. As a progressive partnership between the municipality and the professional theatre company, this project fulfills a long-awaited cultural need and will be a symbol of civic pride for the South Georgian Bay region. Contest Winners Theatre Collingwoods Artistic Director, Steven Thomas congratulates Dale and Ian Chappell, the winners of the Red Hot Lovers Contest on  CHAY FM Radio which featured dinner at the Pottery Restaurant, a gondola ride to the top of the escarpment and overnight accommodations at Blue Mountain Resort,  two tickets to Theatre Collingwoods production of The Last Of the Red Hot Lovers, outdoor adventure at Scenic Caves Nature Preserve and a pampering experience at Le Scandinave Spa.
