What does multidisciplinary include?

We’re looking for all types of artists to apply! This includes theatre groups, musicians, poets, visual artists, comedians, dancers, artisans, etc.

Can only local (Ottawa-Gatineau region) artists apply?

Not at all! We welcome artists from anywhere to apply, but priority will be given to local artists.

Not everyone in my group is from Ottawa. Are we still “Ottawa-based”?

We consider teams “Ottawa-based” if 75% or more of your group reside in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.

Does my team need to be made up of entirely female or genderqueer artists?

No, but 80% (or more) of your team (including producers, directors, performers, etc) must be female-identifying or genderqueer.
