Hamilton: Theatre Aquarius presents “Never Not Once” October 23 to November 9

Award-winning playwright Carey Crim’s new drama Never Not Once will be making its Canadian premiere on the Theatre Aquarius stage beginning October 23, 2019. Called “A beautiful, searing and timely new play by one of America’s most talented playwrights” by BroadwayWorld, Never Not Once is a powerful and poignant drama about the families we choose, and the secrets that can tear them apart.

Never Not Once begins as college student Eleanor brings her boyfriend home to meet her two moms, and lets them know that she wants to find her biological father. A journey to an unexpected and explosive answer to the question “Where do I come from?” that forces the whole family to confront the past in order to move on to a better future.

Never Not Once is Directed by Theatre Aquarius Artistic Director Ron Ulrich. The Set and Costume Design is by Brian Dudkiewicz, Lighting Design by Wendy Lundgren and Fight Direction by Simon Fon. The show stars Kevin Bundy, Nehassaiu deGannes, Raquel Duffy, Stephanie Hope Lawlor, and Wilex Ly. The Stage Manager is Beth Bruck with Josephine Ho (Assistant Stage Manager), and Grace Batten (Apprentice Stage Manager).

Never Not Once will run from October 23 - November 9, 2019, with performances Tuesdays – Saturdays at 7:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 1:30pm. Tickets range from $30 - $85. Opening Night is October 25th at 7:30pm.
