Collingwood: Theatre Collingwood presents a staged reading of “A Christmas Carol” December 20

Wednesday, December 4, 2019

Theatre Collingwood presents a staged reading of “A Christmas Carol”, which we will perform on Friday, December 20th at First Presbyterian Church at 7pm. The readers are all amazing talents from our community! They are people who serve Collingwood and the region in so many ways. This year we have as our readers: Collingwood Mayor Brian Saunderson, Clearview Mayor Doug Measures, Collingwood Councillor (and radio personality) Mariane McLeod, actors Dean Hollin, Luke Hamilton Ford and Andy Dumas, Linda Murphy (realtor, actor, teacher, and hiker extraordinaire), radio host Bill Anderson, and retiree Rowland Fleming (who happened to be the former president of the Toronto Stock Exchange).

If you have not purchased your tickets yet please do so right away on line at www.theatrecollingwood.ca or call 705-445-2200. Tickets are only $25 and the proceeds will support our 2020 Youth Drama Program.

The evening promises to be a delight! We will enjoy Christmas carols sung by Shealyn Angus (Erica Angus's daughter, who many of you know from our February LOVE Carbaret) and accompanied by Collingwood’s very own Greg Gibson (yes, Yvonne Gibson’s son will be back in town), a wonderful reading of a story we all know and love, and mulled cider & cookies to top it off in the hall afterwards. Please gather your friends and join us for a great event to finish off our 2019 theatre year!
