Toronto: 2020 Fringe Festival lottery winners revealed

Wednesday, December 4, 2019

With almost 200 indie artists packed into the cozy Tranzac Club, we ushered in a new generation of Fringe artists.

Congratulations to all the winners.

View a complete results list here.

If this is your first win, we look forward to assisting you through your Fringe journey in the months ahead. If you're a Fringe veteran - welcome home!

To those who were not drawn - do not despair!

There are still lots of ways for you to get involved. We recommend becoming part of our very active Facebook Group and connecting with Fringers there. The folks who got into the festival will be needing actors, producers and other team members. If you would like to be added to a database of artists and crew members for hire, we will be posting about that in the early spring.

Also, the Site-Specific Category is still open and accepting submissions for Fringe 2020.

More info about applying to the Site-Specific Category here.

The Fringe Movement is alive and well.

Did you know? More than 1,000 people applied to the Toronto Fringe Festival this year. That's beats the record number (set last year) by more than 20%.

We are so pleased to see that the Fringe Movement is growing bigger every year. In these divisive times, people are coming together under the banner of Fringe to find connection and community.

The 2020 Toronto Fringe Festival runs July 1 - 12, 2020.

Congratulations to the Winners of our Play Contests

Last night we announced the winners of the New Play Contest, The Adams Prize for Musical Theatre and the 24 Hour Playwriting Contest.
