Toronto: Rush tickets for “Anastasia” announced now through January 12, 2020

Rush tickets for ANASTASIA, the new Broadway musical will be available beginning Tuesday December 10, 2019.
A limited number of daily rush tickets will be available for all performances at Toronto’s Ed Mirvish Theatre through January 12, 2020.
Rush tickets will be $39 each, with a limit of two per customer. They will be available on 9:00 AM on each performance day online at www.mirvish.com, by phone at 416-872-1212 or 1-800-461-3333, or in-person at the Ed Mirvish Theatre – 244 Victoria Street. The only exception will be rush tickets to midweek matinee performances; they will be available 9:00 AM the day before the performance. Regular ticket service fees will apply to tickets bought online and by phone; there will be no service fees for purchases in-person at the box office. (Note: that opening hours at the Ed Mirvish Theatre box office vary by day and by week. Check www.mirvish.com for operating hours.)

This dazzling show transports us from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing conman and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love, and family.
ANASTASIA features a book by celebrated playwright Terrence McNally, a lush, new score by Stephen Flaherty (music) and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics) and direction by Tony Award-winning director Darko Tresnjak.
