Toronto: Paul Watson Productions presents “MASHUP” at Theatre Passe Muraille on March 28

Thursday, March 7, 2019

after the success of their previous collaboration pomme is french for apple, which sold out houses and toured internationally, bahia watson and liza paul are excited to join forces again. following up on a sold out run at the Feminist Fuck It Festival (Storefront Theatre, April 2018), and performance for TedXToronto (Brickworks, October 2018) that garnered a standing ovation from their 1300 delegates, MASHUP is back and bigger than ever.

MASHUP is a futuristic, gyalarific, feministic, bashment* circus. coming with their signature blend of gleeful irreverence and too real talk, your ringmasters bahia watson (The Handmaid’s Tale; Star Trek: Discovery, The Virgin Trial) and liza paul (yas kween; Second City) invite you under their pop-up tent for a variety extravaganza for a tight selection of songs and sketches kissed with a freaky vaudeville vibe. full of fun and featuring accompanist ayaka kinugawa (The Sketchersons; Second City) and a motley troupe of wildly talented guest acts (including the amazing akosua amo-adem and the legendary dj l’oqenz on the decks), this is sure to be the bestest of shows.
