Launched in July 2018, the Mirvish Express was an experiment in offering bus transportation to theatre-lovers from the London-Milton corridor to Toronto. The service has been so successful that two new routes will be added as of June 2019: From the east, Peterborough-Lindsay-Clarington-Ajax; From the golden horseshoe, Niagara Falls-St. Catharines-Grimsby-Burlington-Oakville. The Mirvish Express will drop-off and pick-up in Toronto at all the Mirvish theatres: the Royal Alexandra, the Princess of Wales, the Ed Mirvish, the CAA and the Elgin. Roundtrip service is $30 to $50 per person.

“Going to the theatre should not be stressful,” says David Mirvish. “Unfortunately, these days if you are coming from a long distance, driving can indeed be stressful. That’s why we offer the Mirvish Express. We take the hassle and worry of driving out of the equation, allowing patrons to relax in comfort and arrive at the theatre ready to experience the eclectic and varied theatrical entertainment on our stages.”

Beginning June 12, theatregoers can add a bus trip when attending COME FROM AWAY, DEAR EVAN HANSEN, THE BOOK OF MORMON, DISNEY’S THE LION KING, WAITRESS and THE OFFICE - THE MUSICAL PARODY.

This service is available for patrons attending Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday matinee performances. Same day, round-trip advance reservations are required with a valid theatre ticket order. Seating is reserved. All buses offer free Wifi service. Mirvish Express buses on all routes are wheelchair accessible.
