A Beautiful View is the story of a serendipitous relationshipbetween two women. After a series of random meetings, they areswept into a lifelong friendship unlike either of them had before,or will have again. But no relationship is a fairy tale—or is it?Will they transcend society’s labels, or will they be ripped apartby their fears? Not quite. A Beautiful View is a masterpiece invaguery, hilariously commenting on the way we see ourselves becauseof other people, and bravely allowing regular people to be ourheroes.

Written by Daniel MacIvor, Canadian theatre icon, founding artisticdirector of revolutionary company da da kamera, and prolific writerof plays such as Marion Bridge and Here Lies Henry, and mostrecently New Magic Valley Fun Town at Tarragon Theatre.
