Friday, July 12, 2019

Today Angelwalk Theatre anounced its 2019 Fall Line-Up which includes two fantastic shows!

On Monday, September 23, 2019, Angelwalk Theatre will be holding a gala, fundraiser, and concert - ANGELWALK AT 10 - in the George Weston Recital Hall at the Toronto Centre for the Arts (soon to be Meridian Arts Centre).

Celebrating 10 years since Angelwalk Theatre burst onto the Toronto musical theatre scene with its first performance of Altar Boyz, this one-night only unforgettable evening will feature performances from past Angelwalk Theatre productions, and will also include a cocktail reception, silent auction, raffle, and prizes.

Then, on Sunday, December 8, 2019, Angelwalk Theatre will be presenting A WHOLE NEW WORLD: THE MUSICAL MAGIC OF ALAN MENKEN in the Jane Mallet Theatre at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts.

Revisit your childhood with the iconic music of Alan Menken, the master songwriter of Aladdin, Beauty And The Beast, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, and Little Shop Of Horrors. Discover how one man's music gave us a whole new world of animated characters, stories, and classic films. Hear all your favourite hits including Be Our Guest, Part Of Your World, Friend Like Me, Under The Sea, Colors of the Wind, Go The Distance, Suddenly Seymour, and of course, A Whole New World.

Conceived & Directed by Adrian Marchuk with Musical Arrangements by Chris Tsujiuchi, A Whole New World comes from the same team and is told in the same style as our 2017 hit Any Dream Will Do: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber.
