Cambridge: Vera Causa opera offers two new community outreach initiatives

Monday, September 16, 2019

At Vera Causa Opera, we have always valued community outreach and sharing opera with those who may not have had access to it before. This year, we are taking it one step further by providing two new educational programs in Cambridge.

Join us every Tuesday from 7:00pm-8:30pm from September 24th- October 22nd at the Cambridge Centre for the Arts (60 Dickson St, Cambridge, ON) for Sing Your Heart Out! In this workshop series, we make learning to sing fun and accessible. We will be exploring pop, jazz, rock, and classical music with games, activities and exercises. This workshop is great for anyone looking to improve singing or public speaking skills, try something new, or just have fun!

Every Thursday night from October 3rd- October 24th at 6:45pm- 8:00pm, we will be holding language lessons at Clemens Mill (50 Saginaw Parkway, Cambridge, ON) in Language Quartet: Learn How to Pronounce Italian, Latin, German, and French. Through spoken and written exercises, participants will develop beginner language and diction skills for each language. This is also a great class for those looking to expand their horizons and learn more about public speaking, languages, and culture.
