Toronto: Mirvish presents The Second City’s all-female revue “She The People” February 4-9
Wednesday, January 15, 2020
The future is here and it’s female! The ladies of The Second City return with SHE THE PEOPLE, the sketch show entirely created, designed, and performed by the fearlessly funny women of The Second City, for everyone to enjoy! This mimosa-and-madness-fueled foray roasts the patriarchy, taking on everything from having it all...to having that sick feeling your government is trying to send you back to the Middle Ages. So get ready to laugh, Toronto as the resistance continues! It’s time for women everywhere to collectively reclaim comedy!
An entirely female, All-Star cast of The Second City Main Stage Alum, SHE THE PEOPLE won the 2018 Canadian Comedy Award for “Best Live Ensemble”. Featuring Tricia Black, Ashley Comeau, Paloma Nuñez, Karen Parker, Ann Pornell and Kirsten Rasmussen, SHE THE PEOPLE is written by Carisa Barreca and Carly Heffernan and the casts of The Second City, and directed by Carly Heffernan.
SHE THE PEOPLE plays one week only, February 4 - 9, 2020 at Toronto’s CAA Theatre. Tickets on sale at www.mirvish.com
