Toronto: Tapestry Opera is looking for singers and pianists for New Opera 101

Tapestry Opera is looking for singers and collaborative pianists for its New Opera 101 masterclass.

New Opera 101 is a three-day masterclass intensive from March 17th to 19th, with public performances on March 20th and 21st, 2020. Emerging singers and collaborative pianists have the invaluable opportunity to workshop contemporary arias and scenes from Tapestry Opera’s Canadian repertoire, with coaching by mezzo-soprano Krisztina Szabó, collaborative pianist Dr. Christopher Foley, and dramatic coach Michael Hidetoshi Mori.

Applications close on February 1st, 2020. There is no fee to apply to the program. Admission fee is $220, payable upon acceptance into the program, due from successful applicants no later than February 28th, 2020.
