It’s been eight months, and we’re still frustrated. It’s been eight months and we’re still bored. It's been eight months and it’s finally time to experiment with a live stream. 

Grand Canyon Theatre is teaming up with NℲℲN to present the first volume of IDIOT VISION, a multidisciplinary online streaming event which includes live, and pre-recorded musical events, theatrical performances, original commercials from local businesses, and more. IDIOT VISION: volume one is ecstatic to announce this inaugural two-night event will be headlined by Toronto indie darlings Cat and The Queen (a musical and theatrical outfit that serves as an outlet to create and perform, in motion, stories of the heart, Nov 27) and The Mooks (A good-time rock and roll outfit, bashing and crashing through the decades of your dad's record collection, Nov 28). These two talented acts will be gracing our stage LIVE (in a responsibly distanced way), amongst a mix of curated pieces created, designed and produced by some of our favourite artists in the city. 

The goal of IDIOT VISION is to reunite and remind us that these feelings of frustration aren’t forever, and that we can continue to create collectively. The success of Grand Canyon wouldn't be possible without all the hard work and dedication of the live events community. Without the support of these folks, it wouldn’t be possible for us to afford to continue to keep our doors open, at an accessible rate for all artists.
