Toronto: Outside the March’s “Something Bubbled, Something Blue” goes viral
Monday, November 9, 2020
This fall, the National Arts Centre commissioned twelve companies around Canada to create Grand Acts of Theatre - large-scale performances that speak to our present moment, to be performed live and then shared online. OtM and Talk if Free Theatre answered the call with Something Bubbled, Something Blue, a joyful performance of an outdoor wedding that took place in Barrie, ON on September 12.
Our cast of eight performers gathered with a distanced audience of fifty to celebrate love and community during these strange times… in COVID-safe Zorb bubbles, of course. The video has already “garnered some of the most online oohs and aahs so far” according to The Globe and Mail and has already been viewed over 330,000 times!
