It is heartbreaking for us to announce that following the Premier’s declaration of a state of emergency for Ontario, we believe the only responsible action for Opera Atelier is to cancel performances of Handel’s The Resurrection, scheduled for April 11 - 19 at Koerner Hall. We wish to extend our sincere thanks to all of our singers and dancers for the inspiring, focused rehearsals they have delivered in support of this production. 

‍Thanks also to Opera Atelier’s tireless staff, production and artistic teams whose dedication acts as a reminder of why we wished to bring this beauty into the world in the first place. 

‍All of us at Opera Atelier maintain this repertoire brings out the very best in us as human beings, and moving forward we believe it will be a source of healing and inspiration for everyone. And thank you to you, our loyal patrons, friends and subscribers for your messages of encouragement and support.
