Toronto: Factory Theatre presents an online version of Daniel MacIvor’s “House” on May 7

Wednesday, April 29, 2020

Daniel MacIvor's House was slated to be the final show of Factory's 50th Anniversary Season, and while we're sad we weren't able to stage this work in our Mainspace Theatre, we are very excited to have the opportunity to share this masterful work with our online audience! This version of House features some very special "isolation" edits made to the text, truly making it a not-to-be-missed experience.

ABOUT THE SHOW

A groundbreaking stand-up-sit-down-comedy-nightmare about a man named Victor. His mother is possessed by the devil. His father is the saddest man in the world. His sister is in love with the dog. The one he loves does not love him...and he's got nowhere to live. A man on the precipice of a nervous breakdown, Victor drags his (online) audience through his life, his fantasies, his desires, and his recent push to the edge as he searches for answers in Daniel MacIvor's grand epic.

Approx. Running Time: 1 Hour, 5 Minutes
