Toronto: Against the Grain Theatre brings back its Opera Pub on June 4
Thursday, May 21, 2020
AtG is bringing back the event we all know and love, but now you can experience the magic from your couch! On the first Thursday in June, join your Opera Pub host David Eliakis and musicians Phillip Addis and Emily Hamper for a night full of opera and entertainment. You may remember Phil from his role as Alberto in our production of Figaro's Wedding last December. Best of all, we can say for certain that seating is guaranteed!
"We miss the Amsterdam Bicycle Club and everyone who came to our packed shows. We're looking forward to sharing this boozy event online. Guilt free opera with a beer in hand right to your home! Could it be any better?" - Joel Ivany, Artistic Director
"Super excited to be hosting Opera Pubs again! This will be a really fun, intimate series of performances straight from the living rooms of our incredible group of singers and pianists for our first online Opera Pubs." - David Eliakis, Opera Pub Host
Sit back, enjoy your drink of choice, and tune in to AtG TV's Opera Pub on Thursday, June 4 at 8pm through Facebook Live. We can't wait to (digitally) see you there!
