Toronto: Against the Grain Theatre holds a La Bohème watch party on May 5

Friday, May 1, 2020

On Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at 8:00 PM, AtG is thrilled to join CBC Arts and Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity to bring you a La Bohème Watch Party! Our hallmark production of La Bohème is back, and we would love for you to tune in to review the experience!

This production is a translated adaption ('transladaption') of the Puccini classic and is a recording from October 13, 2019, at Toronto's historic Tranzac Club. This performance was live-streamed nationwide by CBC Arts and AtG, and was the first live-streamed opera in Canadian history.

Snuggle up on the couch with your favourite blankets and beer, and relive with us, an evening of music and laughter. The cast and creative team will be watching along, providing commentary, chatting in the comments and heading back into the fall when things were just a little bit different.

Still not sold? Here is a list of local breweries, wineries and distilleries that deliver to your door! Plan ahead to be ready!

The performance will be available through AtG's Facebook Page and the CBC Arts Facebook Page

On Monday, May 4th, 2020 at 2:00 PM, tune into AtG's Facebook to hear Artistic Director, Joel Ivany, interview members of the La Bohème cast and creative team leading up to our watch party!

On Friday, we heard from the gang in the White Van. Red Van cast members will join us live on Monday!
