ZONE

Passe-Partout wants to replace Tarzan as the leader of their gang, a group of teens smuggling cigarettes across the US border. His betrayal leads to Tarzan’s arrest for the murder of a customs officer. After his escape, Tarzan must decide what to do next: take back the leadership of the gang or flee abroad? What is revolt? Why have young people always embraced illegal acts as a rite of passage? Is this a way to assert their existence in the face of previous generations or is it a means to resist real oppressions lurking in the shadows? In Zone, the canonical playwright, Marcel Dubé, begs questions that are essential to understanding adolescence.

ALBERTINE EN CINQ TEMPS

A septuagenarian from the Plateau Mont-Royal revisits the moments that marked her life. Five actresses portray Albertine, at five distinct stages of her life, between thirty and seventy years of age. Five Albertines who converse with each other and with Madeleine, "their" sister. A chorus tells the story of a protagonist who embodies the double-marginality that characterizes women in oppressed societies; the “victims of the victims”, normally without voice. This Albertine is thus in dialogue with her sister Madeleine, but above all with herself under the full moon during this magical evening on the shores of Lac Simon.

UNE MAISON FACE AU NORD

Henri Simard and his wife, Anne-Marie Belley, are comfortably sliding into their twilight years . But one morning, in 2005, their quiet lives are turned upside down: their only son is arrested for laundering money; Henri must decide if he will hire a Guatemalan refugee; and an Englishman appears out of nowhere in the middle of his retreat, on “his mountain”, at the centre of his woodlot... How do we ensure the future of a society? How do we unite a young generation, obviously more interested in material comfort than the collective good? Behind this production, forever associated with the great actor Guy Mignault, so-called "elderly" characters discover that they have more in common with immigrants and Anglophones (their traditional opponents) than with their own children.
