Great news! The Shaw Festival can now open its theatres to 100% capacity.

We do ask for your patience, understanding and cooperation as we navigate this new, increased capacity with no physical distancing. Please read on to find out how this impacts you and your ticket purchases.

PATRONS WITH TICKETS AND SEAT ASSIGNMENTS

We always look forward to welcoming you. But please note that with the increased capacity, it is very likely that you will be sitting next to someone else. If you are not comfortable with this, please consider deferring your tickets to such a time that you are. Contact the Box Office as soon as possible and our sales representatives can either have your funds held on account for next season or provide you with a refund.

PATRONS WITH TICKETS AND NO SEAT ASSIGNMENTS

Thank you for buying tickets to our Fall/Holiday Season. Box Office representatives are in the process of assigning your tickets and will be in touch. A 100% capacity now means you will likely be seated next to someone who is not a member of your party. If this is something you are uneasy with, let our sales representatives know when they contact you regarding seating allocation and we can either hold your funds until next season or provide you with a refund.

PATRONS LOOKING TO BUY TICKETS

Our Box Office representatives are in the process of seating patrons with current ticket purchases. We are rolling out capacity increases and inventory in all three theatres as fast as possible on a performance-by-performance basis. Please check the website regularly or by phone at 1-800-511-7429 for ticket availability.

KEEP IN MIND

Proof of double vaccination is required to attend a theatre performance or event along with proof of ID. Masks are also required.

Arrive early! Theatres open at the following times:

• Festival Theatre: 2 hours prior to matinees and 90 minutes prior to evening performances

• Royal George Theatre: 90 minutes prior to all performances

• Jackie Maxwell Studio Theatre: one hour prior to all performances

Getting into the theatres will take longer than usual as we verify proof of vaccination and scan your tickets. Please dress accordingly to keep warm and dry for all weather conditions. It’s Canada in the fall after all!
