Toronto: The Tarragon Theatre cancels “The Runner”, its first show of 2022
Friday, December 31, 2021
Due to concerns for the health and safety of our artists, staff and patrons, and after careful consideration of the ongoing impact of COVID-19 in our community, Tarragon Theatre & Human Cargo have made the difficult decision to cancel the remount production of the award-winning production of The Runner by Christopher Morris.
We’d like to thank you for your patience and understanding as Tarragon addresses the complexity required to respond to COVID-19 and its new Omicron variant. As a place of gathering, health and safety is paramount for everyone: patrons, artists and administrative staff.
We know these times are in constant flux and keeping us apart, and so we thank you for your understanding. We promise to continue bringing you ways to engage with powerful stories in Canadian theatre and look forward to celebrating a safe return, sooner rather than later. There is still so much to look forward to, so please stay tuned.
