Stratford: March 25 is the viewing party for “Chilina Kennedy: Home Again”

Tuesday, March 23, 2021

Chilina Kennedy returns to the Festival stage, which she graced for three seasons on her way to becoming a Broadway star. She made her Festival debut in 2009 as Maria in West Side Story and Philia in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. In 2010, she took on the iconic title role of Evita and played Lois Lane in Kiss Me, Kate, followed by Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar and Rose of Sharon in The Grapes of Wrath in 2011.

In her concert, Chilina takes you on a whistle-stop tour of places she’s seen in the recent years of her exceptional career, touching down on the first national tour of the Tony-winning The Band’s Visit, the Canadian musical Evangeline and her legendary Broadway run as Carole King in Beautiful. The world is her stage, but Stratford is home.
