Toronto: The COC plans to returns to live opera in three distinct phases for Fall, Winter and Spring

Monday, June 7, 2021

Join us for A Season Like No Other as we reconnect you with your favourite artists and the extraordinary experience of live opera over the course of three distinct stages of programming: Fall Stage, Winter Stage, and Spring Stage.

We are thrilled to be engaging more than 100 mainstage artists, craftspeople, choristers, and backstage crew members, as well as over 60 orchestral instrumentalists in making the Fall Stage possible –– gathering our creative community in Toronto’s magnificent Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts for the first time in 18 months to share their passion and craft with you, all while leading the recovery and sustainability of live theatre and performance.
To celebrate this moment and thank you for your continued support, we are making our 2021/2022 Fall Stage offerings available to anybody in Canada for free through the COC’s first-ever digital streaming initiative — connecting Canadians with opera from coast to coast to coast.

This innovative season will continue with Winter and Spring Stage announcements as we look ahead to welcoming live audiences as soon as we are able.

Fall Stage details will be released this August.
