Wellington: Festival Players announces more shows, more seats and live streaming

Friday, July 2, 2021

Due to popular demand and many sold-out shows, we’ve just added additional tickets, more seating and digital options – more chances for you to come back to the theatre in your own way!

Festival Players is pleased to announce that with Ontario’s move forward into Phase 2 of Ontario’s re-opening, we’re able to add more seats to every performance – and more performances as well! Not only will theatre goers have additional chances to return to the live theatre they’ve been missing, but we’re also able to offer a third digital option with our newly created “FP Tuesdays online”! Theatre for the price of a movie ticket, from the comfort of your own home Tuesday night in August. Tickets go on sale July 5th at the Festival Players website.

In-person – join Festival Players at the Eddie with our new outdoor stage, socially distanced open-air seating, newly extended yet still socially responsible seating capacities, contactless box office, outdoor concessions and digital show programmes. These measures garnered us the #SafeTravels Stamp by the World Travel and Tourism Council.

Online - FP Tuesdays: make a date at your place to experience something from our lineup each Tuesday evening in August. Popcorn, the beverage of your choice and the comfort of your own home – what could be better if in-person isn’t for you right now?

Our SIX FEET FESTIVAL includes world premieres, award-winning productions and familiar faces!  Experience Beau Dixon, Carolyn Taylor, Elvira Kurt, Mark Crawford, Carol Anderson, Arwyn Carpenter, Sophie Dow, Kristen Foote in our inaugural season at BMO Pavilion set against the picturesque backdrop of the historic Millennium Trail.
