Puppetmongers Theatre brings back

Bed & Breakfast

A puppet play for families, aged 5 to 105

Created by Ann Powell

Performed by Ann Powell & David Powell

Directed by Sue Miner

Children/Students/Seniors $20. Adults $25

Family 4-pack only $75 (4 tickets, available by phone or in person only)

Laced with Puppetmongers’ inimitable humour and delightful storytelling, Bed & Breakfast is a charming feminist adaptation of The Princess and the Pea, set in a magnificent miniature mansion of the Edwardian era. Older children are intrigued by the captivating detail – tiny working period light fixtures and a steaming bathtub – while younger children are entranced by the story, transfixed by the power of make-believe.

With a plot featuring entitled royals, an upstairs/downstairs romance, an epic journey and inter-generational misunderstandings, this is a tale with a heart-warming resolution that appeals to all generations.
