Toronto: The next “Marvel vs DC Roast Battle” happens January 22, 2023

Monday, December 19, 2022

The next edition of our flagship MARVEL VS DC ROAST BATTLE - Presented by Roast Master Bash happening Sunday, January 22nd 9pm at Comedy Bar West!

The show takes the regular roast battle format and gives it a super-powered twist. Fan favorite characters from both comic book giants duke it out in epic displays of verbal violence until only one is left standing. It’s the show that promises to settle the Marvel vs DC debate once and for all!

The event is independently run and produced by Sebastiano “Bash” Fazio. This is a love letter to comic books and their passionate community. Everything from the costumes, in-show graphics, and music is provided and curated by Fazio to pay homage to the characters represented on stage.

It’s a big hit with fans. After straight sold out shows at Comedy Bar, and playing to packed houses at both Ottawa Comic-Con and Fan Expo Canada, Marvel vs DC Roast Battle is now a nerd favourite.

To make the event extra special, we’ve decided to tweak the format by adding a judging panel to maximize the comic book carnage. Judges for the show include Eternity, J Jonah Jameson, and Martin Scorsese, all played by Toronto’s sharpest comedians.
