Orangeville: Theatre Orangeville postpones “Crees in the Caribbean” due to lack of available actors

Monday, May 2, 2022

Due to the popular demand for the amazing talents of members of the remarkable Indigenous acting community, we are unable to secure our desired cast for Crees in the Caribbean.

As a result, we have chosen to put the entire production on hold for a couple seasons. Keep your eyes open though, as it WILL be back, we promise! We will conclude this season with Rock 'n' Roll is Here to Stay, starring Leisa Way and the Wayward Wind Band, running from April 27th to May 15th.

We look forward to seeing you for our exciting 2022-23 season and will be sending you all of the details after David's season announcement at the Starlight Gala on April 29,2022.

If you were unable to join us at the Opera House for the announcement on Friday, don't worry, you can still be one of the first to hear all about the new season from the Facebook Live video by clicking HERE.

The 2022-23 season will be our 29th Season in YOUR THEATRE! It also marks our illustrious Artistic Director David Nairn's 24th Anniversary of taking us onward and upward!

Moving forward, if you are a Crees in the Caribbean ticket holder, you will received an email or telephone call with details.
