The Drawer Boy is a story about two unsuspecting farmers in the early 1970s who get a knock on their door. An actor from the big city is researching a play about farming in Huron County. They reluctantly let him in.

The Drawer Boy has received international renown as one of the best Canadian plays ever written, and it now is being directed by original cast member (Miles) and Festival artistic director Gil Garratt.
