TfT is proud to present Les Liaisons dangereuses: correspondances inédites, a web series written by Sébastien Bertrand and directed by Karine Ricard, now available for streaming directly from TfT's website.

SYNOPSIS

“...Born to avenge my sex and to master yours,” La Marquise de Merteuil

Paris, 1782. Pierre Choderlos de Laclos publishes Les Liaisons dangereuses (Dangerous Liaisons), a collection of letters which brings to light the decadent pleasures, unscrupulous alliances, and perverse rivalries between former lovers and expert manipulators the Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont. One hundred seventy-five authentic letters revealing the correspondence of two libertines, those of their victims, and their abused witnesses.

But when a series of unpublished letters resurface, Laclos discovers a new and scandalous tale filled with intrigue, unusual power plays, unknown plots, and surprising pacts.

Les Liaisons dangereuses : Correspondances inédites is a web series that takes a new look at the novel Les Liaisons dangereuses by Laclos.

This eight-episode web series is quite simply the most ambitious project ever undertaken by TfT. The series will remain available as a webcast until the summer of 2023.
