The Foster Festival presents Happy Funny Amazing LIVE! with special guests Norm Foster, Emily Oriold, Lisa Horner & Zoë O'Connor

Join us on Tuesday, August 15 at 2pm on the set of Jenny's House of Joy at the Mandeville Theatre for this exciting new event in support of our Local Hero Program! Featuring Joanne O'Sullivan from the Happy Funny Amazing Podcast and special guests Norm Foster, Jenny's House of Joy director Lisa Horner, and cast member Zoë O'Connor (Natalie).

Listen as they tell their happiest, funniest, and most amazing true stories! It's a roller coaster of crazy experiences, lucky opportunities, and hysterical surprises, aimed at connecting us all through the age-old tradition of storytelling.

PLUS, listen to Artistic Director Emily Oriold tell the "origin story" of the Festival! How the idea came to her, how long she held on to the idea, and how she gathered the courage to approach Norm with the idea to start a Festival in his name.

Our event host Joanne O'Sullivan is a multifaceted storyteller, podcaster, writer, and executive coach with extensive experience across various genres of Canadian entertainment. Her television writing credits include popular shows such as This Hour Has 22 Minutes, The Baroness von Sketch Show and CBC's From the Vaults. Joanne has also performed stand-up comedy across Canada. Get ready to laugh!

The Festival will also be joined by our Local Hero partnering organizations. Members from Pelham Cares, Bethlehem Housing and Support Services, Project Share, Community Living St. Catharines and Walker Family Cancer Centre will have an opportunity to speak about how the Local Hero Program has helped enhance their services to the community.

The Local Hero program is about lifting people's spirits and providing access to the arts for members in our community who may not be able to attend otherwise. We hope you will join us for at the Mandeville Theatre for Happy Funny Amazing LIVE! in support of this important program.
