Stratford: “The Family Crow: A Murder Mystery” comes to Stratford October 28

Thursday, September 21, 2023

Puppets, Puns and Murder coming to Stratford... just in time for Halloween!

On October 28th SpringWorks~PuppetWorks! will be treating audiences to WhoDunIt style murder, mayhem… and puns in The Family Crow: A Murder Mystery.

The premise? A mysterious murder has occurred inside the mansion of the Family Crow. Who is responsible? This sounds like a job for Horatio P. Corvus: Sorter Outer of Murders! Billed as an hour-long theatrical comedy murder mystery, this one-of-a-kind story takes the audience through plot twists, turns, and many a pun to investigate the death of ‘Russell Crow’. More deaths ensue during the course of his investigation, with the end result being some seriously funny, high flying fun.

Internationally acclaimed puppeteer Adam Frances Proulx is at his finest as he portrays multiple characters in this Agatha Christie style murder mystery.

Described ‘as amusing as it is imaginative’ by Revue Jeu-Montreal, The Family Crow: A Murder Mystery will leave audiences in suspense and stitches, allowing them to enjoy this tale of violence, betrayal and wonderfully terrible word play.

This piece of theatre has a track record of SOLD OUT performances. Stratford will be the last stop on its Ontario fall tour.
