Toronto: New faces join the cast of “The Great Comet”

Friday, February 16, 2024

With the incredible success of the oft extended NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, it was inevitable that we would have to say farewell to a few cast members moving on to other projects.

We want to thank Lawrence Libor, Marcus Nance and Louise Pitre for their part in bringing this spectacular show to life for an amazing 11 weeks!

Their final performance will be Sunday, February 18.

MEET THE NEW CAST!

Ben Carlson

Andrey / Bolkonsky

You will recognize Stratford Festival veteran Ben Carlson as Will Fleissig from THE MASTER PLAN, the first hit show of our 40th anniversary season. Early in the run of THE GREAT COMET, Ben miraculously stepped into the show, after only four hours of rehearsal, to temporarily cover for our ailing Pierre.

Donna Garner

Marya D.

Donna Garner is an actor-musician who has been killing it in the ensemble since THE GREAT COMET opened, singing, dancing, and playing cello and violin. Donna will now take on the role of Marya D, the grand dame of Moscow!

Tyler Pearse

Dolokhov

Tyler Pearse, The Musical Stage Company’s RBC Apprentice 22/23 was instrumental in keeping the cast of THE GREAT COMET moving as assistant choreographer with Ray Hogg. He is now stepping into the role of the “fierce” Dolokhov, “a crazy good shot!”
