Toronto: Guild Festival Theatre presents Family Fest 2024 July 10-14

The only family-focused summer festival in Scarborough, Family Fest is perfect for audiences of all ages. This year’s event features some favourite acts from previous seasons as well as new performers and activities!

Wednesday July 10
Guild Festival Theatre’s Family Fest begins July 10 at 6:30pm with audience favourite Nagata Shachu.
Join this taiko and music group as they lead you in a thirty-minute drum and movement workshop using authentic Japanese hand-drums. The workshop will be followed by a one-hour thunderous and heart-pounding performance.
Thursday July 11-Saturday July 13
For three nights at 6:00pm renowned theatre company Roseneath Theatre brings their award-winning show The Money Tree to The Greek Theatre.
About the show:
When Shasta’s father loses his job, she is devastated to learn that previously laid plans for her upcoming birthday party must be significantly downsized. As the story progresses, Shasta and Simon meet a mysterious Traveler who gives them a seed that will make a tree grow leaves of money. Through a truly magical journey, the two ultimately learn that being a loyal friend is worth more than a big party or having all the latest toys.

Hoop You - We bring the hoops, you bring the play! A hula hoop expert will show the whole family how to move!
