Thursday, February 6, 2025

This Month, due to popular demand, the 2023 hit solo show HYPOTHETICAL BABY written and performed by Rachel Cairns, creator of the award-winning podcast "Aborsh", and directed by The Howland Company's Courtney Ch’ng Lancaster, RETURNS TO THE STAGE for a limited time!

Running from February 22 to March 8 at Factory Theatre, HYPOTHETICAL BABY, produced by Nightwood Theatre - Canada’s preeminent feminist theatre, in association with The Howland Company, is a hilarious, moving, and TIMELY solo-show that grapples with the personal and societal factors that shape our reproductive lives and the intricate relationship between choice, change, and loss.

Named “one of the country’s most original actors” by The Globe & Mail, and recipient of My Entertainment World’s Performer of the Year Award, playwright/performer Rachel Cairns offers up a searingly honest, laugh-out-loud, and breathtakingly nuanced performance on the timely topic of the right to abortion — making it what critics and audiences hailed as a "strongly recommended" "incredible piece of theatre".
