Toronto: Swiss dance piece “Hocus Pocus” plays only May 17 and 18
Thursday, April 10, 2025
In Hocus Pocus two illusionist dancers deliver a poetic coming-of-age story imagined by choreographer Philippe Saire, a pioneer of Swiss contemporary dance.
Framed by neon lights that float in the dark, dancers and imaginary friends (and foes) appear and disappear as if by magic. Embarking on a journey through the clouds and deep in the sea, Lucas and Claus adventure through a surreal landscape set to the dreamlike music of Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt.
Harbourfront Centre hosts the first stop of its Canadian tour for two nights only (May 17–18). Don’t miss it!
