Toronto: Why Not Theatre’s “Mahabharata” is travelling to New York’s Lincoln Center June 24-29

The Why Not team is thrilled to announce that Mahabharata will be travelling to New York City’s prestigious Lincoln Center! From June 24-29, this monumental, two-part production will be presented as part of Summer for the City, Lincoln Center’s annual festival offering hundreds of performances and cultural activities. Following the success of last week’s opening performances in Toronto, Canadian Stage has extended Mahabharata’s run until April 27th at the Bluma Appel Theatre. Tickets for both parts (Mahabharata: Karma and Mahabharata: Dharma) are available through Canadian Stage’s box office but are going fast. Those attending this week can also purchase tickets to Khana & Kahani – a community meal and storytelling session featuring delicious Indian food and further episodes of The Mahabharata. Khana & Kahani takes place at Benares Cucina Indian on April 15, 16 & 20.
