TO Live is thrilled to announce the return of Best of Fringe, a beloved Toronto theatre showcase. Taking place from July 18 to 20, 2025, at the Studio Theatre, Meridian Arts Centre, this curated remount will bring together some of the most celebrated productions from the 30th annual Toronto Fringe Festival (July 2 to 13, 2025).

This highly anticipated event provides a unique opportunity for Fringe favourites to extend their run, offering artists another platform to share their work with a broader uptown audience. It also gives theatre lovers a second chance to catch some of the festival’s most talked-about shows—those they may have missed during the whirlwind two-week Fringe experience.

A jury made up of Toronto’s arts community will select hit and sold-out shows from the Toronto Fringe Festival to be remounted and enjoyed by even more audiences.

Famously, the Toronto Fringe Festival has been a significant launching pad for new and emerging artists. The Drowsy Chaperone (1999), ’da Kink in My Hair (2001), Kim’s Convenience (2011), and Life After (2016) are among many examples of hit Fringe shows that successfully transitioned to larger stages.

Full programming and the final performance schedule for Best of Fringe will be announced following the conclusion of the 2025 Toronto Fringe Festival.
