S
tep inside the world of The Drawer Boy, the Canadian classic that forever changed our theatre landscape.
Directed by Alan Dilworth, laureate of the Christopher Plummer Award of Excellence, this tender, heartbreaking yet humorous play explores how the stories we tell ourselves shape our lives.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Morgan and Angus are two elderly bachelor farmers living a quiet, secluded existence. That is until a young actor, Miles from Toronto, arrives to research “rural life” for a play. As Miles learns about their lives, buried secrets and the bonds of friendship are unveiled, blending humor with heart-wrenching emotion. Written by Brockville’s own Michael Healey, this transformative play blurs the line between performance and reality, letting the power of connection and the resilience of the human spirit shine through.
