Stratford: Here For Now Theatre announces its first-ever fall/winter season

Wednesday, September 10, 2025

Tickets are now officially on sale for our first ever Winter Season!

The Winter Season will run from November 5 – December 24, 2025 on the Rose McQueen Stage at 24 St. Andrew Street

This much-anticipated season features three extraordinary productions that blend myth, comedy, honesty, and holiday spirit, continuing HFN’s tradition of producing innovative, actor-driven Canadian theatre.

The season includes:

Pandora

Written and performed by Jessica B. Hill | Directed by Rodrigo Beilfuss

November 5–16, 2025 | Opening November 7

A mythic, metaphysical comedy from Stratford Festival favourite Jessica B. Hill. Pandora may have unleashed the world’s troubles, but in this smart and searching solo play she also discovers unexpected connections between ancient myth and modern science, where quantum entanglement collides with the mysteries of being human.

Reproduktion (World Premiere)

Written by Amy Rutherford | Directed by Marie Farsi

November 19–30, 2025 | Opening November 21

Flora, desperate to become pregnant, undergoes an alternative fertility treatment in Sweden that sets off a startling transformation. By turns funny and moving, Rutherford’s new dramatic comedy examines the primal desire to procreate—and what it means to create a life of meaning when that call goes unanswered.

Starring HFN Artistic Director Fiona Mongillo, alongside Maggie Huculak, Tyrone Savage, and Rylan Wilkie.

Ruby and the Reindeer (World Premiere)

Written by Mark Crawford | Directed by Irene Poole

December 10–24, 2025 | Opening December 12

From one of Canada’s most beloved playwrights comes a new Christmas comedy for the whole family. Set in 1989 Perth County, 12-year-old Ruby finds an unruly reindeer in her family’s barn. Her discovery sets off a rollicking adventure filled with secrets, holiday matchmaking, and – as always – the saving of Christmas.

Starring Maev Beaty, Tabitha Campbell, Ijeoma Emesowum, Gordon Miller and Benedict Campbell.
