Stratford: SpringWorks presents Eric Woolfe’s “MacBeth: A Tale Told By An Idiot” November 21-22

Tuesday, September 23, 2025

SpringWorks~PuppetWorks! oresents Eric Woolfe’s dementedly inspired, one-man MacBeth – MacBeth: A Tale Told By An Idiot! Shakespeare’s blood-soaked king, with weird witches, viscera-sopped murders, nightmares of madness, and terrifying occult prophecies crashing head on with our ghoulishly giddy bag of timorous trickery! Performed by a solo actor using a diverse range of multi-sized puppets, masks, and parlour magic, cosmic horror, and lowbrow pop, this Mad Mackers is equal parts high tragedy and cartoonish lunacy!

“An artist at the peak of his bizarre and bonkers powers!” – Drew Rowsome
