Theatre Aquarius presents a new musical, It’s a Good Life If You Don’t Weaken, based on the hits of The Tragically Hip.

Set in 2002, Waleed — an exiled journalist —lands in Canada, where he unexpectedly falls for Kate, the owner of a local music store. Their connection is immediate and undeniable. But when circumstances change, their love is tested across continents. Distance, duty, and uncertainty force them to confront what truly matters — and where they each belong.
Woven through the timeless hits of The Tragically Hip, the show surges with raw energy, heartfelt lyrics, and unmistakable spirit. This music is more than a soundtrack — it’s the driving force behind a powerful original story.
