Toronto: The Second City announces a new children’s show on Saturdays

Monday, March 30, 2026

Kids, are you tired of grown-ups constantly telling you what to do? When to wake up, when to do homework, even making you do chores?! Well, on Saturdays at the Second City, it’s the kids’ turn to run the world! In this high-energy and fast-paced sketch and improv show, kids give all the ideas and even get the chance to get onstage!

Following last year’s sold-out run of the family favourite Rudolph Runs Wild, The Second City is thrilled to announce its next big hit for young audiences: No Grown-Ups Allowed*, a high-energy, fast-paced sketch and improv comedy show delivering 60 minutes of non-stop laughter for the whole family. *Grown-ups are absolutely allowed because kids can’t drive or pay for tickets.

The show features a blend of family-friendly songs and sketches from The Second City’s rich comedy archives, fresh new material written specifically for young audiences, and - of course - the ridiculous improv hijinks The Second City is world famous for.

Starring a young and hilarious cast, No Grown-Ups Allowed is a one-of-a-kind interactive theatrical experience offering young audience members the chance to fully participate in the comedy both from their seats or by joining The Second City performers live onstage!

No Grown-Ups Allowed is onstage Saturdays from April 11 to August 29 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets start at $25.
