Acclaimed Canadian improvisational keyboardist Bob Wiseman returns to the Stratford Perth Museum for an intimate, one-night performance of Looking for Richard Manuel reflecting on Richard Manuel, Stratford’s own legendary voice and keyboardist of The Band.

Wiseman will bring his own music, stories, and reflections- considering Manuel’s life and artistry through the lens of a fellow musician. It’s an exploration shaped in real time: what resonates, what lingers, and what connections emerge.

Known for his work with Blue Rodeo and a wide-ranging career as a songwriter, composer, and performer, Wiseman approaches the evening with curiosity and openness. The result is part concert, part conversation, and part live creative process.

Expect insight, humour, and a few surprises along the way.

Arrive early to grab a drink at the bar and explore a special pop-up exhibit highlighting Richard Manuel’s Stratford roots and connections to the region, created especially to accompany this performance.
