Toronto: ProArteDanza presents a triple bill of Archibald, Glumbek and Good October 29–November 1
Wednesday, September 16, 2026
ProArteDanza returns to Toronto’s Betty Oliphant Theatre this fall with a dynamic triple bill featuring three distinct choreographic voices: acclaimed international choreographer Jennifer Archibald, ProArteDanza Associate Director Robert Glumbek, and Canadian choreographer Chantelle Good.
Running October 29 to November 1, 2026, the Fall 2026 season brings together a new work by Archibald, a world premiere by Glumbek, and a remount of Good’s audience favourite, creating an evening of powerful, contemporary dance that pushes boundaries, excites and ignites.
Known for her visceral and highly physical choreography, Jennifer Archibald brings her internationally recognized artistic voice to ProArteDanza for the first time. Her work explores the intersection of movement, music, identity, and human connection, creating choreography that is both emotionally charged and deeply physical.
“Jennifer has a rare ability to bring strength and vulnerability into the same moment. Her movement is visceral, unexpected, and full of emotional truth. I felt her voice would inspire our dancers and connect with Toronto audiences in a deeply personal way,” says Roberto Campanella, Founder and Artistic Director of ProArteDanza.
The program also features a world premiere by Robert Glumbek, ProArteDanza’s Associate Director and one of Canada’s most respected contemporary choreographers. Glumbek’s choreography is known for its musicality, physical intensity and distinctive movement language.
The program concludes with a remount of Chantelle Good’s acclaimed work, bringing her energetic and expressive choreographic voice back to the ProArteDanza stage.
Together, the three works offer audiences a journey across generations, artistic disciplines, and perspectives - showcasing the range, energy, and vitality of contemporary dance today.
THREE BOLD WORKS. ONE UNFORGETTABLE PROGRAM.

“ProArte is simply one of the best contemporary ballet companies anywhere whose dancers can match any in the world for technique, musicality, and expressive depth.” — Paula Citron, Dance Critic.
